Greetings,

I just came across your web site, the art of storytelling show, and found it to be very interesting. I love fact that you can download but you include text as well. I am one of the fortunate ones to be able to say that I learned by storytelling in the traditional way of my tribe. My teacher passed this art down to me and I have started teaching two others. It's a wonderful experience. After being on my own for a bit in storytelling, while at the same time working for my tribe, my tribe started to recognize me as the tribal storyteller....the keeper of stories.

My tribe, the Chickasaw Nation, recently purchased another radio station to do public radio programs on. One of the shows is "Story Time" so I am expand my arena to telling stories through the waves of radio.

I just wanted to express my thoughts of how wonderful I think your site is and how great it is to see others who are just as passionate as I am about storytelling

Perhaps you would be interested in adding a new category? Storytelling and Astronomy?
When I update my new website, I will definitely include a link to yours.
When is the 100th show? Do you still need recorded input?

Eric, A clarion call comes from you and I have heard it loud and clear. Every interview I have had the pleasure of listening to has assisted me to hone my craft, challenged me to honor even more the gift I have been given to be a story teller, and inspired me to dig deeper in order to be the instrument through which children, youth and adults will be able to discover something more about themselves in the stories I tell and the moments we share in the mystery of being caught in the wonder of this ancient art. Thank you for bringing all these talented artists into our homes, vehicles, shops,or where ever there is the opportunity to drink in the wisdom and the joy you exude as well as that of your many guests. I join others in saying, "keep up the good work."

Thank you so much for inviting me to sit in on the wonderful session on Tuesday night with Syd Lieberman - what a treat! I got lots of insight and ideas about telling family stories, which is one of my goals for 2008. And the upcoming programs also look enticing! I'll be back!

Thanks.

Great seeing you in person at OAPN. thanks for inviting me to joinn your podcast . Carefui, I may babble to gibberish . I can intersperse the Queen's tongue, too! But seriosly, how much of communication is just words alone?
