Ben Sota made an important insight on performing in the above interview. To paraphrase..."many artists have a piece ready to present..they bring it to an audience prepared and ready to go..but many times they bring their work to the cusp of really making it an outstanding piece of art but they back off becaouse they do not trust in themselves.
This is so true. The best advice I've gotten from several well respected professional tellers is that once you are onstage you must totally commit to your story...trust that your work is as good as you hope it will be...take the leap and go all the way...no hesitating no backing off. Great comments.
