What a wonderful and instructive talk with Jay. I especially like the way Jay described how he developes his stories through being uninhibeted enough to ask people to listen and allow him to play at telling a new story to them. I have watched Jay's performing Rasberries and stories from his Pill Hill series and what struck me then was his sense of play. He's totally in a world of his own invention, totally immersed in playing like a child plays but is also totally open to letting his listeners in on the fun too...inviting them to play along with him. Great stuff!!
